MAIN DESCRIPTION
Oxidized Hunger uses metallic golds, coppers, deep russet tones, olive passages, and a dominant blue-black channel to create a strong diagonal pull across the canvas. The warm metallic areas appear to push through the darker earth-toned surface, while the olive movement along the edges adds resistance and tension.
The title connects to the painting’s oxidation-like behavior. The surface feels consumed by transformation, with color moving through the composition like mineral change, corrosion, pressure, and exposed layers. The result is an abstract work built around force, material reaction, and visual appetite.
