MAIN DESCRIPTION
Someone Spilled the Grape is filled with deep purple, soft lavender, black, gray, and smoky white. The colors flow into each other like spilled juice or wine spreading across a surface. Some areas are dark and heavy, while others are lighter and misty, with small bubble-like shapes throughout.
The piece has a loose, organic feel, as if the paint moved on its own and created a dramatic, grape-colored landscape. Created as a JD-led collaboration with Cameron Plemons, the work leans into its playful title while still carrying a moody, atmospheric presence.
