MAIN DESCRIPTION
Pressureline is a mixed media artwork built from acrylic on canvas with glass applied to the surface. The painting moves through layered teal, aqua, purple, gray, black, and soft pink, with flowing bands that stretch across the canvas like geological pressure moving through stone or water.
The glass creates sharp black fracture lines that cut through the softer painted movement. These raised areas give the piece its tension, turning the surface into a meeting point between flow and break, softness and edge, pressure and release. The color feels fluid, almost mineral, while the glass interrupts that movement with a physical line the eye cannot ignore.
As part of the Built from the Break Collection, the piece focuses on what happens when pressure becomes visible. The break is not hidden. It becomes the structure that organizes the painting, giving the work its name and its spine.
