MAIN DESCRIPTION
Lumesurge was created during the same experimental painting session as Veloraeth and Umbralore, a day in the studio where the process produced results that have been difficult to duplicate since. The title was created specifically for this painting, giving the work a name that belongs only to it.
The painting carries an electric pulse of light moving through deep, water-like color. Swirls of viridian and cobalt crash, drift, and fold into one another, creating the feeling of bioluminescent tides moving beneath the surface. The composition feels active without becoming chaotic, with light pushing through darker passages rather than simply sitting on top of them.
Lumesurge holds the energy of something bright moving through depth: part current, part storm, part glow. It is a one-of-one result from a process that opened briefly in the studio and has not returned in the same way.
